Information for exhibitors, participating roasters, cafes and coffee equipment dealers.

What I need to participate in ROAST! 2024

  1. Fill out and submit the mandatory registration form (discounted until August 1)
  2. Pay the advance invoice on time (within 10 days of registration)
  3. Choose which coffee to bring along and come to the festival

Basic information

The festival takes place in Brno Káznice 21.9.-22.9.

  • Saturday 21.9. 10:00-20:00 plus afterparty
  • Sunday 22 Sep 10:00-19:00

Presentation slots

The following bars are available for presentation slots during the festival. Please select specific presentation bars and days on the registration form. It is possible to book multiple bars on both days, however you cannot extend your time slot by purchasing two slots in a row. All day bars are by special arrangement only.

Espressobar white

The classic espresso bar as you know it from other coffee festivals.

At your disposal:

  • Professional coffee machine (La Marzocco Linea)
  • Professional grinder
  • Filtered water
  • Kettle rinse
  • Fridge for milk

There is plenty of room on the table for a possible custom second grinder.

Please bring your own scales, tempera, lattiers etc, or we may have some to lend by arrangement.

At the same time we ask you to bring 1 package of 250g coffee and 5 samples of about 30-50g to be used for competitions and as gifts for sponsors.

Please bring your own cow's milk, we will be happy to store it in the fridges for the duration of the festival or there is the option to order milk from the festival. Alternative milk available on site.

Espressobar black

A somewhat unconventional espresso bar designed only for the preparation of pure espresso without milk and other additives.

At your disposal:

  • Professional coffee machine (La Marzocco Linea)
  • 2-3 professional grinders
  • Filtered water

Plenty of room on the table for a possible second grinder of your own.

Please bring your own scales, tempers, etc., or we may have some available for loan by arrangement.

At the same time we ask you to bring 1 package of 250g coffee and 5 samples of about 30-50g to be used for competitions and as gifts for sponsors.

The classic brewbar as you know it from other coffee festivals.

At your disposal:

  • Professional grinder (EK43)
  • Barrel of filtered water under the table

Scales, kettles, etc. please bring your own, or we may have some on loan by arrangement.

At the same time we ask you to bring 1 package of 250g coffee and 5 samples of about 30-50g to be used for competitions and as gifts for sponsors.

Cupping

We offer the possibility to organize your own 2h cupping.

At your disposal:

  • Professional grinder (EK43)
  • Cupping bowls, spoons, teapots, napkins and just about anything you might need

You just bring your coffee.

At the same time we ask you to bring 1 package of 250g coffee and 5 samples of about 30-50g to be used for competitions and as gifts for sponsors.

Exhibition space and facilities

All exhibition spaces are located inside. For exhibitors, there is an enclosed backstage area where they can put their belongings just a few steps away from the exhibition space.

Mugs/trays at the festival

At the festival, each visitor receives a ceramic or returnable plastic cup at the entrance, which they can wash/rinse at several points during the festival. So you don't have to worry about bringing cups and such to the festival.

Other benefits

For every slot purchased, you will receive two presenter tickets and up to three tickets at a 50% discount. Each additional ticket is 25% off

Retail sale of coffee packages

At the festival, roasters can also sell their own packages of coffee for the duration of their presentation. In addition, there is the possibility to use the festival sales booth open for the entire duration of the festival.

Up to 4 types of coffee can be placed on the stand, 5 pieces each (no problem to refill during the event). Please send us at least 7 days before the event a list of coffees you wish to place on the sales stand, including the selling price. The festival charges 20% of the selling price. At the end of the festival, we will return the rest of the packages, bill you and send you the money to your account within 14 days.

Advertisment

Up to two rollups with a maximum height of 2m can be placed behind the presentation bar during the presentation. Your roaster will be placed on our website in the form of a logo, a caption and a listing in the program. It will also be shared on our social media in the form of at least two posts and one sponsored post. If you would be interested in other forms of advertising collaboration, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Transportation

Address - Bratislavská 249/68

In front of the building you can stop at the reserved places and unload the equipment or coffee.

Parking is free on weekends both around the building and in the adjacent blue zones.

For non-drivers, we recommend taking the train or bus to the main train station, where tram lines 2 and 4 run direct for a few minutes.
